The Africa Plan Manager is responsible for the overall management of the Africa Plan Project as part of the MCI commercial development strategy, with particular focus on Commercial and technical activities to promote MCI commercial development strategy and the branding of its products, working closely the Commercial, Marketing and technical support Department, and other relevant units at MCI

Specifically, the incumbent, will

• Develop and oversee the strategy of MCI AFRICA project with the concerned department. 
• Contribute to the development of MCI Advocacy plan
• Work with the concerned department in MCI to develop a detailed plan to monitor and track the progress of the project  and to ensure all project activities are delivered on time within the stipulated scope and work plan.
• Coordinate with all stakeholders (internal and external)  for the flawless execution of projects
• Perform risk management analysis to reduce project risks
• Report and escalate to upper management of MCI as and when needed
• Create and maintain a comprehensive project documentation including report from area coordinators
• Travel to the region as and when required to monitor project activities in the field
• Prepare quarterly reports describing the achievement and progress of the project activities
• Perform other duties as assigned by the upper management of MCI

Requirements for the profile

• a veterinarian   with experience in project management and partnerships 
• Has strong communication skills
• Knowledge of the African context and working of public and private veterinary services
• Knowledge of business development plans is an asset

 Language skills:

–             Working level of English and French
