Innovation is central to MCI Santé Animale's mission. Our Research & Development activities focus on developing safe, effective, and field-adapted vaccines and veterinary solutions targeting priority animal diseases affecting livestock productivity and food security.
MCI combines scientific expertise, advanced laboratory infrastructure, and field experience to support the development, validation, and continuous improvement of vaccines for both regional and international markets.
Our R&D platform covers all major vaccine technologies, including:
- Live attenuated, inactivated, and combined multivalent vaccines
- Recombinant and viral vector platforms, including DIVA-compatible technologies
- Thermostable formulations adapted to tropical and field conditions
Since 2012, our R&D Department has produced 89 peer-reviewed publications in international journals, including 47 authored directly by the MCI team.
